Platform
One relationship layer, four working parts.
Hygia is not a chatbot with a healthcare vocabulary. The conversation is the surface; the platform is what makes the relationship persistent, understandable and actionable.
Each part is only useful because of the others. A conversation without memory produces nothing durable. Understanding without a path to action produces another report. Action without integration produces work nobody sees.
Gia
The individual-facing expression of Hygia.
The familiar presence a person actually talks to — conversational, persistent, and clear about what it is and is not.
GiaRelationship Intelligence
The understanding the relationship produces.
Understanding, intent, preference, behavior, barrier and follow-through — the human context behind healthcare events.
Relationship IntelligenceAction & Human Escalation
How understanding becomes something that happens.
Support inside the relationship, follow-up, tasks, caregiver participation, and the right human brought in with context.
Action & Human EscalationIntegrations
Working alongside the systems you already run.
A layer that attaches to existing systems of record, transaction and workflow rather than asking you to replace them.
IntegrationsHow the parts move
Connect → Engage → Understand → Act → Learn
The platform exists to run this cycle continuously for one person across years, not once for a population inside a campaign window.
- 1Connect
Hygia connects the patient to the organizations and people supporting their healthcare journey.
- 2Engage
Gia maintains an ongoing, natural conversation rather than relying solely on episodic outreach.
- 3Understand
Over time, those interactions can reveal what the person understands, intends to do, is worried about and what may be preventing them from moving forward.
- 4Act
Hygia can help translate that understanding into the appropriate next step, whether that means helping the patient, supporting follow-through, creating a task or bringing the right person into the loop.
- 5Learn
Each interaction adds context to the relationship, allowing future engagement to become more relevant and informed.
Across the entire cycle
Memory and persistent context — the relationship does not restart at each interaction.
Design principles
The commitments the platform is built around.
- 01
The individual is the constant
The relationship belongs to the person and persists across organizations, plan years and changes in circumstance.
- 02
Memory is the differentiator
Persistent context is what separates a relationship from a sequence of interactions. It is a core capability, not an add-on.
- 03
Humans stay in the loop by design
The platform's job is to determine when human attention is warranted and to make it well-prepared, never to remove it.
- 04
Complementary, not replacing
Existing systems of record, transaction and workflow keep doing what they do well. Hygia adds the layer that connects them to the person.
- 05
Adult agency is preserved
People decide what to share, how to be contacted and when they want a person instead. Nothing about the design treats that as friction.
Maturity
What we are not claiming.
- We are not publishing a connector catalogue, named customer integrations or third-party certifications we do not hold.
- We are not claiming autonomous clinical capability of any kind.
- We are not presenting performance results or outcome statistics on this site.
- We describe capability and design intent, and we are explicit where something is in development.
Current security, privacy, compliance and responsible-AI status is stated directly in the Trust Center rather than implied here.
The most credible thing a company at this stage can do is be exact about what exists.
The platform is the reason the relationship holds.
If you are evaluating Hygia seriously, the most useful next step is a conversation about your population and your existing systems.
